8/22: Orientation Information, Beginning of the Year

Good Afternoon Lincoln Park High School Families,

This is Mr. Mercer calling with some information about upcoming events for Lincoln Park High School students.

The staff has been working hard to make sure the school is ready to go for another successful year and we are excited to welcome you back for orientations and the first day of classes.

All freshmen are invited to a fun filled orientation this Friday, August 24, from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm in the LPHS auditorium. Pack light and wear comfortable shoes. This is an action packed day and a great opportunity to make new friends, learn from upperclassmen and prepare yourself for your high school career.

On Wednesday, August 29, all students should report for orientation and pictures at their designated times. Juniors should report between 8:00 and 9:30 am, Sophomores between 9:30 and 11:00, Seniors from 11:30 until 1:00 and Freshmen from 1:00 until 2:30. Please make sure you bring back emergency contact information that was mailed to you earlier this month. You will have your school photo taken that day as well, so be prepared!

First semester schedules will be available on MiStar on September 1. If you don’t know your MiStar login information, please contact the school office.

The first day of school for students is on Wednesday, September 5 and is a full day for LPHS students.
