This is Mr. Mercer, principal at LPHS. I have a couple of announcements regarding credit recovery classes and some exciting opportunities for students applying to college.
Night school registration is now open for any student that needs to make up a required class towards graduation. Information regarding this credit recovery program is available at lphs.lincolnparkpublicschools.com in the parent drop down menu. Your student can also contact their counselor for more information.
Parents and guardians of the senior class, Lincoln Park High School is hosting a “Paying for College” night on Tuesday, October 24 at 6:00 pm in the High School Cafeteria. Experts will be there to give you and your students more information on financial aid and help with filling out the FAFSA.
Lincoln Park High School is also hosting a “College Recruitment 101” event on Wednesday, October 25 at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria. A college recruiter from Wayne State University will be there to give student athletes information on how to play sports at the college level and the recruiting process.
All of these events are opportunities that we are excited to offer to the students of Lincoln Park. If you have any questions, please contact the school office and they can direct you to the appropriate person for more information
